Aquatic Litter Removal begins with a Weeki Wachee River canoe trip.

 Enthusiastic about hitting the water after weeks of renovating a junk canoe into ship shape, my wife and I headed to the Weeki Wachee River in Hernando County Florida.  

The beautiful Weeki Wachee River offers numerous sandy beaches along its river bank, which are perfect for a relaxing sit or swim in the cool water of Weeki Wachee Springs river run. 

Amidst this beauty it wasn't hard to notice litter accumulating in these rare aquatic exotic places.  Discontent to allow another sunset on such a mess, my wife and I together started Aquatic Litter Removal on this spot.

As of now we are not a huge nature conservancy group of friends, volunteers and supporters with coordinated efforts to achieve a full frontal assault on litter in all forms, recyclable or waste items, contributing in its wake a renewed litterfree environment that is safe for animals and plants.

No, we're not like that at all. Together, my wife and I, we just like to pick up litter while canoeing Florida's beautiful aquatic areas.
